Here's a picture of Maddie and me on the hunt...only two weeks old and she's already to kill. I bet not even Joe had Brian out to hunt this early. Early nomination for Father of the Year I'm sure.
Haha...just joking. Actually, my crazy brother-in-law had a bunch of his friends over and they all brought their deerheads to show off...really strange if you ask me. Hunters are crazy.
Madison Suzanne was born on Saturday, August 7th at 12:34am. She was 8 lb 10 oz and 20.5 inches long. Kari and MaddieSue are doing great. Here are some photos:
In tribute to the huge, annual Comic-Con Convention that recently concluded at the San Diego Convention Center, I submitted the following photo entitled, "Young Candy Gatherers."
... you got your hunters, your gatherers, your hunter-gatherers and then you got your young, candy gatherers. jd/sd
A very nice photo provided by sister Peggy. Mom & Dad's 60st Wedding Anniversary photo taken July 2nd, 2009.
.... and in a blast from the past, Peggy's "Green Thumb" project/garden at the old Decker Homestead in Lima; ....the garden behind the cow barn, remember?
Peggy is shown her with the little Irish girl from NYC that our family (Mom) hosted in conjunction with the 'Fresh Air Program'.
Was her name Irma?
Peggy's 'Green Thumb' projects taken from her old apartment on Mt. Vernon Ave., Rochester, NY (photo cira 2004-05).

Isn't she the cutest preggo you ever seen? This is one week before Kari hit her 3rd trimester (which was last Friday). The baby is due August 1st. We can't wait to meet our little girl. Her name is Madison Suzanne (MaddySue).
4-5-2010: Judy, Jordan and I drove to SLT for a few days of spring skiing. It was more winter than spring skiing but the snow conditions were excellent!
Judy and I rented ski equipment since our old gear is mostly, missing from the South Carolina, bi-coastal, fire drill. Our old gear wasn't exactly 'mountain worthy' anyway.
Found a few photos on Wendy's Facebook page of the annual, winter bird round-up in Upstate NY. I see that Joe did another fine job of flushing out the birds again this year.
